According to Khalood Khair, Director of Confluence Advisory, the United Nations could play a crucial role in alleviating the crisis. "The international community must step up its efforts to provide aid and support to the Sudanese people," she said in an interview with The Associated Press. "We need to see countries come together to address this humanitarian issue."
The situation in Sudan has been deteriorating for months, with widespread displacement, food shortages, and a lack of access to basic services such as healthcare and education.
