Grammy Camp to Expand to Nashville in 2026: See the Dates
The Grammy Museum announced plans to expand its Grammy Camp program to Nashville in 2026, joining existing locations in Los Angeles, Miami, and New York. The non-residential camps will provide high school students with immersive music industry training, led by faculty and professionals from the music industry.
Grammy Camp Nashville will be held at Belmont University's Music Row facility from May 31 to June 6, 2026. "We're thrilled to bring Grammy Camp to Nashville," said Deborah Dugan, President of the Recording Academy. "This program is designed for high school students who are ready to take their music skills to the next level and pursue careers in the industry."
The camp will offer instruction across multiple career tracks, including music business, instrumental performance, music production, songwriting, and vocal performance. Faculty members will include Grammy nominees and winners.
Grammy Camp Miami will be held at Art House Studios from June 23 to June 27, 2026. "Our goal is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the music industry," said Dugan. "We believe that by offering this program in multiple locations, we can reach more students and help them achieve their goals."
The Grammy Camp program was established in 2014 as part of the Recording Academy's efforts to support music education. The camps are designed for high school students who already have foundational skills and knowledge in music.
In addition to Nashville and Miami, Grammy Camp will also be held in Los Angeles from July 11 to July 15, 2026, and in New York from August 1 to August 5, 2026. The program is open to high school students aged 14-18 who are interested in pursuing careers in the music industry.
The expansion of Grammy Camp to Nashville marks a significant milestone for the program, which has already seen success in its existing locations. "We're excited to bring this opportunity to Nashville and provide students with access to top-notch training and mentorship," said Dugan.
The Recording Academy's efforts to support music education have been recognized as a model for other organizations. The academy's Music Education Professional Development Committee was established to provide resources and support for music educators.
As the music industry continues to evolve, programs like Grammy Camp are essential in preparing students for careers in the field. By providing hands-on training and mentorship, these camps help students develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
The expansion of Grammy Camp to Nashville is a testament to the program's success and its commitment to supporting music education. With its immersive music industry training and expert faculty, Grammy Camp is poised to continue making a positive impact on the lives of high school students across the country.
