BREAKING NEWS: Deadly Attack Rocks Michigan Mormon Church, Multiple Casualties Reported At least one person is dead and nine others injured after a gunman attacked a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints service in Grand Blanc Township, Michigan on Sunday morning. The shooter was killed by police. The suspect, identified as a 40-year-old male, rammed his vehicle through the front doors of the church before exiting and opening fire with an assault rifle on hundreds of worshippers inside. Authorities believe he also deliberately set fire to the church, which is now engulfed in flames. The attack occurred at approximately 11:15 AM ET at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc Township, about 60 miles northwest of Detroit. Police Chief William Renye said investigators are working to determine a motive for the attack. The injured victims have been transported to local hospitals, where their conditions are being treated as critical.
