DIY Graphics Disaster: Ambitious Builder's VGA Project Ends in Defeat
In a shocking display of ingenuity gone awry, a hardware hobbyist known online as Leoneq has released a GitHub repository detailing his attempt to create the world's worst video card. Dubbed the iNapGPU, this text-mode graphics card was designed using only TTL gates and 21 integrated circuits.
According to sources close to the project, Leoneq aimed to outdo Ben Eater's infamous "world's worst video card" by pushing the limits of practicality even further. Despite his best efforts, however, the iNapGPU struggled with environmental noise from simple USB cables and constant instability caused by an overclocked 12MHz counter.

The project specifications listed VGA output at 800 x 600 (SVGA) 60Hz, with an accessible resolution of 400 x 300 in monochrome. However, the iNapGPU consistently failed to deliver on these promises, instead producing random glitches whenever the system attempted memory writes.
Experts in the field have praised Leoneq's dedication to his craft, but also noted the project's numerous flaws.
