BREAKING NEWS: Manchester Synagogue Attack Victim's Funeral Held Amid Ongoing Investigation
The funeral of Melvin Cravitz, one of the two men killed in Thursday's synagogue attack in Manchester, has been held today. Hundreds attended the service at Pendlebury Cemetery in Salford.
Cravitz, 66, died after an attacker rammed a car into and stabbed worshippers gathering for Yom Kippur services at Heaton Park Synagogue. Mourners filled the cemetery forecourt, with many standing outside listening to the service over loudspeakers.
Rabbi Daniel Walker, who helped prevent the attacker from entering the synagogue, was among those paying their respects. Cravitz's family described him as "friendly with everybody" and said he would "do anything to help anyone".
The investigation into Thursday's attack is ongoing. Police have not yet released details on the suspect or motive.
