BREAKING NEWS: Manchester Synagogue Attack Footage Emerges
A man matching witness descriptions of the attacker has been seen on camera minutes before a terror attack at a Manchester synagogue, according to new footage obtained by the BBC.
The video shows Jihad Al-Shamie walking away from the synagogue after being told to leave in a confrontation. The doorbell camera then captures a black Kia Picanto, matching the car used in the attack, heading back towards the synagogue just minutes later.
Two people died and several others were injured when Al-Shamie drove his car into worshippers at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue on Thursday during Yom Kippur. The victims have been identified as Melvin Cravitz, 66, and Adrian Daulby, 53.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) described the incident as a terror attack and were called to the scene at 09:31 BST. The car used in the attack had a distinctive missing back right hub cap.
