URGENT: Ian Watkins, Lostprophets Singer, Fatally Attacked in Prison Ian Watkins, the disgraced singer of Welsh rock band Lostprophets, has died after being attacked in HMP Wakefield prison. He was 48 years old. Watkins was pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday morning, following an assault by another inmate with a knife.
