IDFA Unveils Competition Lineups for 38th Edition The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) announced the lineups for its international competition and Envision sections on Tuesday, completing its official selection with nearly 250 titles from 76 countries. The festival will run from November 13 to 23. The Envision section showcases 12 documentaries that explore new ways of storytelling. IDFA's DocLab program has been completed, with a focus on innovative documentary storytelling. The Luminous and Frontlight programs have also been unveiled, highlighting works by emerging talent and established filmmakers. The festival's cross-section awards nominations were announced, recognizing excellence in various categories.
