Breaking News: Multiple People Stabbed on Huntingdon Train
At least 11 people have been injured in a mass stabbing on a train traveling from Doncaster to London King's Cross. The attack occurred on a LNER train that made an unscheduled stop at Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire at around 20:00 GMT.
Eyewitnesses describe chaos as a man with a knife attacked passengers, leaving two people in a life-threatening condition. Those injured are currently receiving treatment at local hospitals.
The train was carrying passengers from a football match when the attack happened. Alistair Day, who was on the train, hid in the buffet car with others as a fellow passenger confronted the attacker.
Police met the train at Huntingdon and are investigating the incident. The motive behind the attack is not yet clear.
