Breaking News: Multiple Injuries Reported in Huntingdon Train Stabbing Incident
At least 11 people have been injured in a mass stabbing on a train traveling from Doncaster to London on Saturday night. One member of the train staff is in a life-threatening condition. The attack occurred on the 18:25 GMT London North Eastern Railway (LNER) service.
Emergency crews and police rushed to Huntingdon station in Cambridgeshire after receiving 999 calls from the London-bound train. Witnesses reported that police used a Taser on one man who was holding a knife. Two British men in their 30s were initially arrested, but one has since been released with no further action.
The Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, has described the attack as "appalling" and "deeply concerning." The incident is not believed to be a terror-related incident, according to police.
