Breaking News: Police Investigate Possible Links to Multiple Incidents in Train Attack Case
Anthony Williams, 32, has been charged with 10 counts of attempted murder after a knife attack on a London-bound train that passed through Peterborough at 19:40 GMT on Saturday. Williams, of no fixed abode, has been remanded into custody.
Police are investigating possible links between Williams and two other incidents: an attack on a 14-year-old boy in Peterborough on Friday and reports of a knifeman at a barbers' shop in the city. In both cases, a crime was raised and investigations launched.
The train attack, described as "vile and horrific," left 10 people injured. Prime Minister Keir Starmer has praised the heroic actions of the driver and train staff.
Cambridgeshire Police are reviewing the incidents and will provide further updates as more information becomes available. The investigation is ongoing.
This is a developing story.
