Breaking News: NHS Manager Jailed 28 Years for Raping Young Girls Groomed on Snapchat
A 51-year-old NHS manager, Paul Lipscombe, has been sentenced to 28 years in prison for raping and sexually abusing young girls he groomed on Snapchat. The abuse occurred in Leicestershire, Norfolk, and Lincolnshire.
Lipscombe, an associate director of NHS performance in Coventry, used his Tesla to transport victims to rented hotels and Airbnbs. He was found guilty of sexual grooming, sexual assault, and two counts of rape of a child under 13.
The case has been described as "shocking and terrifying" by detectives. A 15-year-old victim who was groomed by Lipscombe has spoken out, calling for facial recognition to be implemented on Snapchat to prevent similar abuse.
Snapchat has stated it works with law enforcement to combat the sexual exploitation of young people on its platform. The company's efforts to prevent such activity are ongoing.
