Initially, buyers were told they could expect delivery by the end of summer, but summer came and went. The customers not only paid $1,200 for the tequila but also incurred additional taxes and fees. A TechCrunch reader reported that delivery was repeatedly delayed, pushed back to October, then November, and most recently, one person was told the delivery would be after November. The delay was largely due to the unique bottle design, which required a specialized manufacturing process. The handcrafted bottles are made of high-quality glass and feature a distinctive poker chip-inspired design. The tequila itself is a premium spirit, made from 100% blue weber agave and aged for a minimum of 24 months. The All-In podcast hosts, which include Jason Calacanis, David Sacks, and Chamath Palihapitiya, launched the tequila brand at a star-studded party last June, selling out all 750 bottles within a short period. The delay in shipping has been frustrating for some customers, who were eagerly awaiting the arrival of their bottles. However, Calacanis expressed gratitude for the customers' patience and understanding, saying, "We appreciate the support and enthusiasm of our customers, and we're thrilled to finally be able to deliver the Besties All-In tequila to them."
