Breaking News: Car Plows into Crowd at Australia Demolition Derby, Thirteen Injured
Thirteen people, including two critically injured, were hit by a car during a demolition derby in southeastern Australia. The incident occurred in the town of Walcha on Saturday night. The car, driven by a 27-year-old man, had been taking part in a race as part of the annual Walcha Motorcycle Rally.
The vehicle drove through a fence and crashed into the grandstand, causing widespread injuries. The ages of the injured bystanders range from 20 to 75, with one critically injured person being a 54-year-old man. Nine people remain in hospital, with all reportedly recovering.
