French Producers Behind "Wolf Dog" Join Forces with Ladakhi Dark Comedy "Idiot

French producers La Belle Affaire Productions, known for their work on the critically acclaimed film "Wolf Dog," have boarded the Ladakhi project "Idiot," a dark comedy directed by emerging filmmaker Stenzin Tankyong. The film, also known as "Kakthet," is produced by veteran filmmakers Ritu Sarin and Tenzing Sonam of White Crane Films, with Flore Cavigneaux and Jérôme Blesson serving as co-producers. Tankyong, whose short films "Sekool" and "Last Days of Summer" have screened widely on the festival circuit, including the Rotterdam 2023 festival, is set to make his feature film debut with "Idiot."
