Most read like frustration-fueled diary entries dressed up as public service announcements.
But the most recent post on Morrissey Central appears to be more consequential. Morrissey has no choice but to offer for sale all of his business interests in The Smiths to any interested party investor, the post titled A Soul for Sale reads.
Published on Sept. 3, the message offers up the Smiths name, artwork, merchandising rights, songs, synchronization rights, recordings, and contractual rights for publishing for sale to the highest bidder.
Its unclear whether Morrissey created the post himself and representatives for the musician did not immediately respond to Rolling Stones request for comment. But it does include a quote that is attributed directly to him.
