Breaking News: Birmingham Doctor Charged with Sexually Assaulting 38 Patients
A 38-year-old doctor from Birmingham has been charged with sexually assaulting 38 patients. Nathaniel Spencer, of Quinton, Birmingham, faces 15 counts of sexual assault, 17 counts of assault by penetration, and nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13. The charges also include three counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration and one count of attempting to assault by penetration.
The alleged offences took place between 2017 and 2021 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley. The investigation was led by Staffordshire Police.
Nathaniel Spencer is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on January 20, 2026.. The charges have been brought by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) following a thorough investigation.
