Yoodli, an AI-powered communication training startup, has reached a valuation of over $300 million, more than tripling its value in just six months. This significant increase follows a $40 million Series B funding round led by WestBridge Capital, with participation from Neotribe and Madrona. The startup's total funding now stands at nearly $60 million, having previously raised $13.7 million in a Series A round in May.
The valuation surge comes as AI tools continue to spread into workplaces, fueling concerns about automation. However, Yoodli positions itself as a counterpoint to these fears, using AI to assist people rather than replace them with machines. The Seattle-based startup, founded by Varun Puri and Esha Joshi in 2021, employs AI to run simulated scenarios, including sales calls, leadership coaching, interviews, and feedback sessions. This technology provides users with structured, repeatable practice to improve their speaking skills.
Yoodli's approach is distinct from other AI-powered communication tools, which often aim to automate human interactions.
