Breaking News: Two More Suspects Detained in Heathrow Pepper Spray Robbery Probe
Two people, a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, have been arrested in connection with a suitcase robbery at Heathrow Airport, where pepper spray caused injuries to 21 people, including a three-year-old girl. The arrests were made in Lambeth and the suspects remain in custody.
The incident occurred on Sunday at the Terminal 3 car park, where two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift. Police were called at 08:10 GMT and five people were taken to hospital for treatment, but have since been discharged.
A 31-year-old man was previously arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault, but has been released under investigation while inquiries continue. The investigation is ongoing, with police working to determine the full extent of the incident.
