Breaking News: Two Arrested Over Violent Pepper Spray Attack at Heathrow Airport
Two men, Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have been charged with robbery and administering a noxious substance in connection with a violent pepper spray attack at Heathrow Airport. The incident occurred on Sunday at the Terminal 3 car park, where two women were robbed of their suitcases and a three-year-old girl was among those injured.
The attack caused a partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park. Five people were taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged. The Met Police arrested a third suspect, a 23-year-old woman, on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery, who has since been released on bail.
The charges against Richards and Clarke-Butcher are two counts of robbery and two counts of administering a noxious substance. They are due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
