Companies like Carbon Engineering and Climeworks are pioneering this new approach, using high-powered fans or pumps to chemically isolate CO2 from the air. The process is simple yet elegant: air is drawn into a system, where it's scrubbed clean of its carbon content before being piped underground for storage.
