Two people were killed in a suspected Palestinian "rolling terror attack" in northern Israel on Friday. Police reported the attacker used a vehicle and a knife. The incident unfolded across multiple locations.

The attacker first ran over a pedestrian in Beit Shean. The victim, Shimshon Mordechai, was 68 years old. A 16-year-old boy was also injured in the ramming. The attacker then drove west and stabbed 18-year-old Aviv Maor near Ein Harod. A civilian shot and wounded the suspect outside Afula.

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz identified the suspect as being from Qabatiya, a village in the occupied West Bank. Katz instructed the IDF to respond "forcefully and immediately." The IDF is preparing an operation in the Qabatiya area.

The attack occurred a day after an Israeli reservist was fired for ramming a praying Palestinian with a quad bike.

Investigations are ongoing. The IDF operation in Qabatiya is expected to begin soon.
