Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Crene! These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Crene, Inc. ("Crene," "we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the Crene platform, including our website, mobile applications, and AI-powered content generation services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

Eligibility

Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Service.

Account Accuracy

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.

Subscriptions and Payments

Crene Pro Subscription

Crene Pro is a paid subscription service that provides enhanced features including AI-powered content analysis, advanced generation capabilities, and priority support.
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) and will automatically renew unless cancelled.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe or Apple's in-app purchase system.
Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the platform where you purchased (App Store, Google Play, or our website).
Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods unless required by applicable law.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. Any price changes will be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance and will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

Content Policy and User Conduct

Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content

Crene maintains a strict policy of zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful platform for all users.

Users may not post objectionable, abusive, or illegal content. Crene reserves the right to remove such content and suspend offending accounts. Users can report or block inappropriate content directly in the app. Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours.

Any content that violates our policies will be removed immediately, and offending accounts may be permanently banned without refund or prior notice.

Content Moderation & User Safety

Crene uses advanced AI-powered moderation technology (AWS Rekognition) combined with human review to maintain a safe platform for all users.

Report Inappropriate Content

Users can report objectionable content (images, videos, articles, comments) using the "Report" button visible on all user-generated content. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

Block Users

Users can block other users directly from their profile or content interactions. Blocked users cannot interact with you or view your content.

AI-Powered Moderation

All uploaded images and videos are automatically scanned using AWS Rekognition for inappropriate, violent, or explicit content before publication. Flagged content is immediately blocked and reviewed by our moderation team.

24-Hour Review Guarantee

All reported content is reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours. Violating content is removed and appropriate action (warning, suspension, or permanent ban) is taken against the offending account.

Prohibited Content and Activities

Illegal & Harmful Content

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation
Violence, terrorism, or promoting harm to others
Drug trafficking or illegal substances
Weapons sales or manufacturing instructions

Harassment & Hate Speech

Hate speech targeting protected characteristics
Bullying, harassment, or threats
Doxxing or sharing private information
Impersonation or identity theft

Sexual & Explicit Content

Pornography or sexually explicit content
Sexual solicitation or prostitution
Non-consensual intimate imagery
Content sexualizing minors in any way

Fraud & Deception

Scams, fraud, or deceptive practices
Misinformation or deliberate disinformation
Spam or unauthorized commercial activity
Copyright infringement or IP theft

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content that violates these policies, please report it immediately to creneinc@gmail.com. We review all reports and take appropriate action, including account suspension or termination.

User-Generated Content and License

Your Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create, upload, or generate using the Service. However, by using Crene, you grant us certain rights to host, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to any content you upload or generate.
You grant Crene a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
Content you publish publicly may be viewed and shared by other users according to your privacy settings.

AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI tools may be similar to content generated for other users. While you own your specific prompts and generated outputs, Crene cannot guarantee absolute uniqueness. You are responsible for reviewing and ensuring the appropriateness of AI-generated content before publishing or sharing.

Account Security and Responsibility

Your Responsibilities

Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activities under your account

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
You may request account deletion at any time
Termination does not entitle you to a refund

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

As-Is Service

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crene, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Crene, Inc. and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our express written permission.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to you via email or prominent notice within the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
