Disability rights advocate Bob Kafka, a Vietnam veteran and key organizer with ADAPT, has died at the age of 79. Known for his work advocating for policy changes and supporting individuals with disabilities, Kafka dedicated his life to promoting dignity and independence for the disabled community. His efforts included direct support for individuals, fundraising, and negotiations with government officials, according to ADAPT co-founder Mark Johnson.
