James Bond Game '007 First Light' Release Delayed to May 2026
The upcoming James Bond video game, "007 First Light," has been delayed until May 27, 2026, according to developer IO Interactive. The highly anticipated title, the first James Bond game since 2012's "007 Legends," was originally scheduled for release on March 27.
IO Interactive, the studio behind the Hitman series, stated that the game is "fully playable from beginning to end." However, the company said in a statement that the extra time was needed to "further polish" the game.
"007 First Light" is being developed in association with Delphi Interactive, which is also working on the upcoming FIFA game set to be released on Netflix ahead of the 2026 World Cup. The game will star Dexter Ori as the iconic British spy.
