Among the selected companies was Ahoi, a platform designed to help individuals with limited mobility discover accessible locations. Ahoi's technology aims to address the challenges faced by people who struggle to find places that accommodate their specific needs.
AllFocal Optics Limited was also selected for its nanophotonic lens technology, which the company claims enhances visual clarity. AllFocal Optics Limited says its technology could benefit individuals experiencing discomfort, such as headaches and dizziness, during extended reality (XR) experiences. The company believes its lenses represent a breakthrough in mitigating the adverse effects of prolonged XR use.
Billight, another startup featured in the competition, presented a light-up pool table. The company did not provide further details.
