Foreign journalists have been barred from independently entering Gaza since the war began in October 2023. The ban continues despite the ceasefire in the enclave. The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate organized a protest in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. The protest highlighted media workers killed by Israeli attacks during the Gaza war. Palestine was the deadliest place for journalists in 2025, according to a media union report. The FPA demands the immediate lifting of the ban. The Israeli government has yet to respond to the FPA's statement. The Supreme Court is expected to review the case.
