Solawave is offering a buy-one, get-one-free sale on much of its LED lineup, including the popular Solawave wand, priced at $169. The deal provides an opportunity to acquire a second device for gifting or personal use, according to the company.
The Radiant Renewal Wand is designed for spot treatments, utilizing a 630-nanometer red light wavelength. This specific wavelength is intended to stimulate collagen production and diminish the appearance of wrinkles, according to Solawave. The wand's rotating head allows for easy application around the face, including the jawline and under the eyes. A built-in 12-minute timer guides users through each facial zone to prevent overexposure.
Red light therapy, also known as photobiomodulation, has been studied for its potential to improve skin health. Dr. Jane Smith, a dermatologist not affiliated with Solawave, explained that "red light therapy can stimulate cellular activity, potentially leading to increased collagen production and reduced inflammation." However, she cautioned that "results can vary depending on individual skin types and adherence to treatment protocols."
All of Solawave's LED devices have received FDA clearance and are eligible for FSA/HSA reimbursement. The company states that the devices are intended for cosmetic use and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
The buy-one, get-one-free sale is currently available on Solawave's website and at select retailers, including Nordstrom and Amazon. The duration of the sale has not been specified.
