U.S. Launches Retaliatory Strikes Against ISIS in Syria Following Deadly Ambush

WASHINGTON – The United States launched large-scale retaliatory strikes against ISIS targets in Syria on Saturday, January 10, 2026, following an ambush last month that resulted in the deaths of two U.S. soldiers and an American civilian interpreter.
