Netflix Sweetens Warner Bros. Bid with All-Cash Offer
Netflix has revised its bid for Warner Bros. Discovery's streaming and film assets to an all-cash offer of approximately $72 billion, aiming to expedite the deal and outmaneuver competitor Paramount Skydance. This strategic shift reflects the intense competition among global streaming giants to consolidate valuable content libraries, like the Harry Potter and Game of Thrones franchises, amidst evolving media landscapes. The deal would also see Warner Bros shareholders receive shares in the spun-off CNN and other entities.
