The FBI seized original 2020 voting records from Fulton County, Georgia, on Wednesday while executing a search warrant at the county's Elections Hub and Operations Center, according to county officials. The FBI confirmed they were conducting court-authorized activity at the facility, ABC News reported.
The search occurred after former President Donald Trump repeatedly claimed voter fraud in Georgia contributed to his election loss. Georgia officials audited and certified the results following the election, ABC News noted.
Driver in Custody After Car Crashes into Chabad World Headquarters
Also on Wednesday, a car crashed into the Chabad-Lubavitch World Headquarters in Brooklyn, New York. The New York Police Department (NYPD) is investigating the incident as a possible hate crime, officials said, according to ABC News.
The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. at 770 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said officers already assigned to the location heard a commotion at the building's main entrance. They witnessed a car strike the rear door, reverse, and then strike the door again, ABC News reported. No injuries were reported.
