'Bridgerton' Season 4 Focuses on Benedict's Love Story; 'Rocky Horror Show' Revival Cast Announced
Netflix's "Bridgerton" is set to return for its fourth season, focusing on Benedict Bridgerton's quest for love, while a Broadway revival of "The Rocky Horror Show" has announced its cast.
"Bridgerton" Season 4 will center on Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, and his pursuit of the "Lady in Silver," Sophie Baek, portrayed by Yerin Ha, according to Variety. Sophie is a maid, not a member of high society. The series, inspired by Julia Quinn's book series, premiered in 2020 and quickly became a popular hit for the streaming service.
Time noted that the series follows a familiar formula: "A new class of Regency London singles enters the marriage market, navigating a gauntlet of balls... Each social (and TV) season focuses on a different noble, wealthy, and gorgeous Bridgerton sibling... Every romance begins with a meet-cute, progresses through an excruciating will-they-or-wont-they... but is repaired in time to culminate in perfect marital bliss."
Meanwhile, Stephanie Hsu, Juliette Lewis, Rachel Dratch, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez have joined the cast of the Broadway revival of "The Rocky Horror Show," according to multiple sources. The production is directed by Sam Pinkleton and stars Luke Evans. Hsu will play Janet, Lewis will portray Magenta, Dratch is set to be the Narrator, and Rodriguez will take on the role of Columbia.
In other news, Bruce Springsteen has released a new protest song, and J.K. Rowling's cafe has reopened, according to multiple sources.
