World Food Programme Halts Operations in Rebel-Held Yemen Amid Restrictions

The WFP's withdrawal comes amid a crackdown on UN workers and aid groups in areas under Houthi control, as well as funding shortages. The United Nations estimates that 4.8 million people remain internally displaced across Yemen, in what the UN describes as one of the world's worst humanitarian crises.
