This "society of thought," as the researchers dubbed it, significantly improves model performance in complex reasoning and planning tasks, according to a VentureBeat report from January 30, 2026. The study found that models like DeepSeek-R1 and QwQ-32B, trained via reinforcement learning, inherently develop this ability without explicit instruction. These findings offer a roadmap for developers to build more robust LLM applications and for enterprises to train superior models using their own internal data.
However, the rapid advancement of AI also raises concerns about its potential misuse. Wired reported on the proliferation of AI-generated anti-ICE videos circulating on social media.
