NBC is set to bring NBA games back to its Sunday night lineup after a nearly 25-year absence, debuting "Sunday Night Basketball" following the conclusion of the 2025-26 NFL regular season, according to Variety. The eight-week stint will precede the NBA Playoffs in April.
The network is also adding WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark to its "Basketball Night in America" pregame coverage as a special contributor, Variety reported. Clark will join host Maria Taylor and NBA analysts Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter, and Tracy McGrady for commentary.
Meanwhile, Gen Z's fascination with the 2010s continues to grow, as evidenced by a significant increase in 2016-themed playlists on Spotify, according to Vox. In January alone, Spotify saw a 790 percent increase in such playlists.
