Zurich – The death toll from a fire at the "Le Constellation" bar and lounge in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, rose to 41 after an 18-year-old Swiss national died in a Zurich hospital on Saturday, February 1, 2026, according to the Associated Press. The fire, which occurred during New Year's celebrations, had already claimed the lives of 40 people and injured over 100, NPR reported.
