ZURICH - The death toll from a fire at the "Le Constellation" bar and lounge in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, has risen to 41, a month after the tragic New Year's celebrations incident. An 18-year-old Swiss national died in a Zurich hospital on Saturday from injuries sustained in the blaze, according to the Associated Press.
The fire, which occurred during New Year's celebrations, initially left 40 people dead and over 100 injured. Flower tributes have been placed at the entrance of the bar as a memorial to the victims. Swiss investigators believe that sparkling candles atop wine bottles ignited the fatal fire.
