The Reno-based startup's funding comes as hyperscalers and AI firms seek to reduce their reliance on Nvidia, the current leader in the AI chip market. These firms reportedly include OpenAI, which, despite being one of Nvidia's largest customers, is reportedly unsatisfied with some of the firm's late deliveries, according to TechCrunch.
