The FBI is investigating the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of "Today" show co-host Savannah Guthrie, after she went missing from her Tucson, Arizona home on February 1. According to CBS News, the FBI described the suspect as having an average build and an approximate height of 5-foot-9 or 5-foot-10. Surveillance footage from a Nest doorbell camera showed the suspect wearing a black-colored 25-liter Ozark Trail Hiker Pack backpack. Nancy Guthrie was reported missing after she failed to appear at church on the day of her disappearance. Her family has pleaded for her safe return.
Investigators found a black glove near Guthrie's home that appears to match those worn by the suspect in the surveillance video, CBS News reported. The glove, which contains DNA evidence, was one of approximately 16 collected by investigators in the area. The FBI stated that the results on the glove typically take about 24 hours.
