Savannah Guthrie, the co-host of the "Today" show, has pleaded for the safe return of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing since February 1. Guthrie posted a video on Sunday, two weeks after her mother's disappearance, urging whoever is holding her to "do the right thing."
Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen on the evening of January 31, when she had dinner with her daughter Annie Guthrie and her son-in-law, according to CBS News. The FBI has released photos and videos of an armed person in a mask near her Tucson, Arizona, home, appearing to tamper with a security camera, ABC News reported. Male DNA was found on a glove near the home, sources told ABC News.
"It's been two weeks since our mom was taken, and I just wanted to come on and say we still have hope, and we still believe," Guthrie said in the video posted to Instagram, according to CBS News. "And I wanted to say to whoever has her, or knows where she is, that it's never too late. And you're not lost or alone. And it is never too late to do the right thing. And we are here. We believe. And we believe in the essential goodness of every human being. And it's never too late."
