Multiple news sources report a high-speed train collision in southern Spain near Adamuz resulted in at least 39 fatalities and dozens of injuries, making it the country's worst rail crash in over a decade. The Madrid-bound train derailed, colliding with an oncoming train, and while the cause of the "extremely strange" incident on a recently refurbished track is under investigation, authorities are providing emergency medical care to over 122 people.
