PraxisPro, a sales coaching platform focused on the medical field, announced Wednesday a $6 million seed round led by AlleyCorp. FlyBridge and South Loop also participated in the funding. The company aims to improve the effectiveness of sales representatives in pharmaceutical companies, medical device startups, and similar life science businesses.
PraxisPro was founded in 2023 by Cam Badger and Bhrugu Giri, who identified a gap in effective sales training and mentorship within the medical industry. Badger, now CEO, previously worked as a sales representative, sales trainer, and at a medical startup, experiencing firsthand the challenges of inconsistent coaching and fragmented training programs. The company's first product was released in 2025.
According to Badger, the platform is designed to ensure that healthcare providers are well-informed about available treatments, ultimately benefiting patients. "When commercial interactions with healthcare providers are ineffective, patients don't get a fair shot at therapies that could meaningfully change their lives," Badger said. He believes that better-trained salespeople will facilitate the delivery of more treatments into the hands of doctors.
The PraxisPro platform provides targeted coaching and training resources designed specifically for the nuances of medical sales. The company's focus is on scaling learning in a meaningful way, addressing the founders' initial frustrations with the lack of structured support in the industry. The investment will be used to further develop the platform and expand its reach within the medical sales sector.
