The reality series "House of Villains" will premiere its third season on Peacock on Feb. 26, 2026, at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET, according to Peacock. The first three episodes will be available to stream on the premiere date, with subsequent episodes released weekly starting March 5.
Hosted by Joel McHale, the competition series features 11 reality television personalities competing in challenges that involve scheming, strategizing, and outmaneuvering each other for a $200,000 prize and the title of "America's Ultimate Supervillain," Peacock representatives stated.
The cast for the upcoming season includes Paul Abrahamian ("Big Brother"), Tyson Apostol ("The Challenge" and "Survivor"), Kate Chastain ("Below Deck" and "The Traitors"), Jackie Christie ("Basketball Wives"), Drita D'Avanzo ("Mob Wives"), Plane Jane ("RuPaul's Drag Race"), and Johnny Middlebrooks ("Love Island" and "The Challenge").
"House of Villains" capitalizes on the established popularity of reality television, where artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly used to analyze viewer behavior and optimize content. AI algorithms can predict which contestants will generate the most engagement, inform editing decisions, and even tailor the show's narrative to maximize viewership. This application of AI raises questions about the authenticity of reality television and the extent to which AI influences the perceived drama and conflict.
The use of AI in entertainment is a growing trend, with implications for content creation, distribution, and consumption. AI-powered tools can now generate scripts, compose music, and even create realistic visual effects, potentially disrupting traditional roles in the entertainment industry. As AI becomes more sophisticated, it is expected to play an even greater role in shaping the future of television and film.
